This is the healthiest salad on the planet, and it tastes really good! If you have never tried raw broccoli or cabbage before, please try it because it really is good. The benefits of broccoli, cabbage and company are well documented.
The quantity are for a small salad for 2 or 1 big salad if you want to (I do…).
Let it marinade for an hour at room temperature before you eat it, so the veg will soften a bit. If you don’t have time don’t worry, it’s not essential.
2 cups of broccoli florets
1 cup of shredded cabbage
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
for the marinade:
2 tablespoons of toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon of soya sauce (I use the low salt variety)
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of agave syrup or similar liquid sweetener of your choice
Simply mix the ingredient for the marinade and add to the veg, add the sesame seeds and it’s done!
Remember to cut the cabbage really finely and the broccoli in bite sized florets.
